Here is the brand new M-41 Keel center-board sloop
"Hombre" strapped down and driving hard, up the Gulf of Mexico in her
first race after her launching and sea trials..
In the able hands of Bruce Bidwell, her owner, and my grammar school
co-founding partner in The Morgan Yacht Corp., "Hombre" racked up an
enviable account of herself in the Florida Ocean Racing series of her day.
It is of historical note that the fine looking sails "Hombre" is sporting
were made in the " Morgan Racing Sails" division of
Morgan Yacht..
For years Morgan Racing Sails powered winning ocean racers yachts and the
smaller racing class boats, - the loft was shipping sails all over the
country, Bermuda and the Caribbean. |
